Custom template
When a global template is to be used in a database, there first needs to be created a custom template/version of the global template. This can be a copy of the global, or one can make changes that are needed.
How to create a custom template
Open the Export templates page. (Setup > Settings > Export templates)
Select the global template to be used as base from the selection box in the top right corner.
Change the name of the template
Save
The template is now ready to be used. The name used will be available when selecting to do an export.
Edit custom template
It is also possible to edit the template. This can be the case if the global has some fields that are to be defined for each company.
